The parts of speech
أجزاء الكلام
يوجد 8 أقسام للكلام فى اللغه الإنجليزيه:
1- الأسم Noun : و هى الاسماء بكل أنواعها* مثل: man* book* house* clothes* love* hatred* gold* wood …..* etc.
2- الفعل Verb : و هى الكلمات التى تدل على نشاط أو حركه مثل: play* eat* sit* think* try* is* has* thought* tried …..* etc.
3- الصفه Adjective : و هى الكلمات التى تستخدم فى وصف الأسماء مثل: happy* beautiful* rich* big* small* tall* short* high* new* romantic…..* etc.
4- الظرف Adverb : و هى الكلمات التى تصف الأفعال و ظروف الزمان و المكان مثل: quickly* slowly* carefully* recently* yesterday* everywhere….* etc.
5- حروف الجر Prepositions :و هى حروف مثل: in* on* under* at* of* into….. etc.
6- ادوات التعريف و التنكير determiners : و هى أدوات تسبق الأسماء مثل: a* an* the* some* any* this* that* his* her* my….* etc.
7- الضمائر Pronouns : و الضمائر عدة انواع فهناك ضمائر المتكلم و المخاطب و الملكيه و الضمائر المنعكسه و غيرها* مثل: I* you* she* he* it* we* our* his* her* hers* ours* himself* herself* themselves….. etc.
8- كلمات الر بط Linking Words : و هى الادوات التى تربط بين الجمل* مثل: After* before* so* and* but* if…… etc.
هذه نبذة مختصرة و عامه عن اقسام الكلام و التى سنتعرض لها بالتفصيل خلال دروس دورتنا إن شاء الله.
ملحوظة هامه: بعد الكلمات يمكن ان تجمع بين نوعين او اكثر من اقسام الكلمات و لكن يحدد ذلك موقعها فى الجمله:
أمثلة:
The ( book ) is in the bag.
I mustn't forget to (book) a hotel room.
كلمة book فى الجمله الأولى هى اسم Noun بمعنى كتاب لكن فى الجمله الثانيه هى فعل verb بمعنى يحجز.

Exercise 1
Read the story and say what kind of words the underlined
On Tuesday night a burglar broke into a shop in a small town and stole money. The shop sells burglar alarms! " It's terrible. We opened very recently* so we haven't had time to fit an alarm." The manager said sadly.
Exercise 2:
Is the underlined word a verb* a noun or an adjective?
1- The door was open.
2- He didn't open the door.
3- The alarm didn't ring.
4- The news will alarm everyone.
